Hip Hop
Students will be introduced to the movement of Hip Hop dance. They will explore commercial dance styles and will learn how to dance using traveling steps, jumping, personality and different dynamics of movement.
The goal is to make the class fun and applicable to what the student would like to see him or her self-doing on stage.
Petite Hip Hop (ages 4-6yrs)
Students will be introduced our 305 style movement of dance. They will learn how to check in,stretch, and work with their teacher and friends. Dancers get to learn how to dance using traveling steps, jumping and combo. A freestyle happens at the end of class.
Hip Hop I/II (Jr High & High School)
This class provides a structured method of learning different types of Hip Hop dance movements in a fun-filled and vibrant class environment. This class utilizes upbeat music from various genres, in addition to the latest Hip Hop hits. Our down south hip hop style was started in Miami fl.
The resulting outcome is an energetic class that not only teaches you Hip Hop movements and technique but also instills rhythm and precision in your muscle memory.
Majorette Dance
Studio 305 Marjorette class help with self esteem and fuses hip-hop style movement, Majorette began in the late 1960s at historically black colleges and universities, or HBCUs. It combines the energy of the high-step marching style of black college bands with West African, jazz, ballet,modern and hip-hop choreography.Must take ballet class to participate in Majorette classes. Ages 11 & up
